The Baitfish Dubbing is a long fiber dubbing perfect to tie both freshwater and saltwater streamers. Ideal for imitations of fish, bait fish but also shrimp, it can be used both to tie the tail and along the body of the flies or to make the heads. It can be comfortably shaped by using scissors. To firmly tie this dubbing to the hook it is recommended to use threads with high traction such as Power Thread. It can be easily combined with both streamer feathers, Marabou, Bucktail, Zonker and synthetic fibers such as Craft Fur, chenille, and at will mix it with other dubbing. Once tied it can be combed using the special tying comb to perfectly distribute the fibers along the streamer. It can also be cut to the desired length, taken with pliers, and mounted in a loop. Combining it with tungsten beads, you can tie beautiful small streamers for trout lake, perch and shads. To make the streamers tied in Baitfish Dubbing even more imitative, you can combine the 3D Epoxy Eyes, and cover them with UV glue like in surf candy. Or clouser minnow can be tied with chain eyes or lead eyes colored. Also you can imitate streaks on the back, and imitations of gills or fins by coloring the fibers with Copic Sketch Markers. The fibers of this dubbing are shiny but do not have too many reflections, if you are looking for a long fiber dubbing with more reflections you can evaluate the Baitfish Supreme Dubbing or the Senyo's Laser Dub. The wide range of colors allows you to create a wide range of combinations and dressing.
