Fine Flash Dubbing - Claret
The Fine Flash Dubbing is a synthetic dubbing with beautiful reflections, made up of very fine diameter fibers and flash fibers. Its use is very varied, it is especially ideal to tie nymphs' bodies and collars, but it can also be used to tie wet flies, dry flies, terrestrial flies, hunting flies, sedges and streamers.
Unlike the Fine Diamond Dubbing, in the Fine Flash you can find colors that are not found in the previous ones, despite being dubbing with very similar characteristics, reflections and consistency.
They can be used to make spots and collars as seen in the Nymph Violet Sand or bodies as in the Jig Green Spot Orange, where a few turns of Pearl Tinsel are made to reinforce the fastening. Make the chests of the nymphs, covering the lead wire. Combining them with foam to tie bodies and heads of terrestrials like the Grasshopper, and with marabou to create streamers like the Cone Head Olive. Also excellent for neckbands and to give movement in Squirmy Worm.
These dubbings are very easy to tie on the hook, they can be fixed to the mounting thread or with dubbing wax, or simply by squeezing them with your fingers. Finally, they can be combed and damaged using the special brush for dubbing, to give even more movement to the fly, imitate paws, or give shape to streamers and imitations of fish.
They are excellent both for those approaching the world of fly tying for the first time, and for those who want to create very quick flies and simultaneously bright and captivating. In fact, with some colors, a couple of turns, and copper wire to act as tinsel, very simple nymphs can be tied.
They can also be mixed with other natural or synthetic dubbing, such as Rabbit Dubbin and Flash Nymph Dubbing.
The reflections of the Fine Flash Dubbing are "warm" or tending to bronze and pearly, while if you are looking for dubbing with "cold" reflections or tending to purple and blue, the dubbing of the Fine UV Ice Dubbing series is recommended.
