Polishquills stripped peacock quill is a very beautiful natural product and gives at the flies a realistic and imitative effect. They are single fibers obtained from the feathers of the peacock tail, and the hand-made stripping allows to maintain unaltered the resistance that would be lost with chemical treatments. It's an ideal material to tie bodies of nymphs such as the Fluo Yellow Quill, perdigon, but also wet flies, dry flies and emerger flies such as the Parachute Rooster Quill, and flies in cdc such as the Emerger Cdc Foam Quill. It can be used on straight, grub, klinkhamerhooks of all sizes between #10 and #20 but also smaller. Depending on the case in which we use it, it is recommended to cover it with UV glue to reinforce it against the trout's teeth which would otherwise cut it after a few hooked fish. During fixing it is recommended to keep the darker part upwards, so that when we go to wrap it, we will obtain the desired ribbing. Being a natural material work very well in the various patterns with other natural materials such as rabbit dubbing, partridge feathers, hare, but you can also create beautiful contrasts with other synthetic materials and dubbings. The wide range of colors allows you to create a wide range of combinations and dressing. While for those who need a synthetic quill, or a quill that has longer fibers, the Synthetic Biot Tapered is recommended.
