Marabou is a very soft and fluffy feather. Once wet, this material creates a very beautiful and natural movement that animates the fly fishing flies. Generally it is combined with tungsten beads, eyes, or cones, to tie both lake streamers such as Trout Streamer Lake, and river streamers such as Streamer Cone Head. But it can also be used to tie tails of nymphs, poppers, gurglers and terrestrials such as Eddies's Bugger. Excellent both tie by simply fixing the fibers to the hook, or by doubling the thread for slot assembly. It can be easily combined with other feathers for streamers and synthetic fibers, chenille, dubbing and at will also flash to give it brilliance such as Crystalflash, Holographic Fibers and Angel Hair. The wide range of colors allows you to create a wide range of combinations and dressing.
