Peacock hearls are the single barbules of peacock tail feathers. It is a multifunctional natural material: if wrapped it is perfect for tie bodies and thoraxes of wet flies, nymphs, dry flies, hunting flies. While like whole barbules it can be used in the tying of streamer from both sea and fresh water, and wings of wet flies.
