Peacock Herls are the single barbules of the peacock tail feathers. It is a multifunctional natural material: when wrapped it is perfect to tie bodies and chests of wet flies, nymphs, dry flies, hunting flies. While as whole barbules it can be used to tie both saltwater and freshwater streamers, and wet fly wings. Its effect can be replaced by synthetic materials such as Fine Diamond Dubbing in the Dark Peacock color, or a chenille such as Micro Cactus in the Peacock or Black color.
