Dr. Slick scissors are perfect to tie artificial flies, they cut very well, their sharpness lasts a long time and their weight is perfect for handling them when you are on the vise. In fact they are neither too light nor too heavy, they are perfectly balanced. The All Purpose Scissors and the Hair Scissors are practically identical in use, and differ only in the length of the blades. They are both perfect for general use when tying: cutting threads, tinsel, feathers and synthetics. The Hair Scissors having longer blades is more suitable to cut long synthetic fibers such as Craft Fur, Supreme Wing Hair, SF.
